Frequently Asked Questions

All bookings are from 14.00 – 18.00 and you have exclusive use of the hall and the common use of the outdoor space (other users may be present)

Booking timings

Party bookings are available on weekends between 5 May - 31 August. 

During the rugby season - 1 Sep - 30 Apr - weekend bookings are limited - we can only take bookings for Friday afternoons from 14:00 and evenings.

All bookings are from 14.00 - 23.00.  This allows time for set up and tidy away. 

We have large bins for recycling and rubbish outside beside the gate

Please leave the hall and playing field as you found it

Invoicing and Deposit

We charge a fixed fee of £150 for members and £300 for non-members for the hall booking. 

It is important that you set up and clear way during the booked hours. 

If you need to cancel your booking, please do so within 21 days of the event for a full refund

A deposit of £100 is required which will be refunded following your event

Payment will be required on completion of booking – a link to pay your deposit and invoice will be sent once your Initial Enquiry Form is returned and the date is checked

Catering

We offer a great party food menu so please email us at beckenhamrugbyevents@gmail.com for further information and please indicate your interest on the Initial Enquiry

Alternatively, you are welcome to bring your own party food

The commercial café will be closed during your party but by prior agreement, at the time of booking, can remain open but a minimum spend of £150 is required, please just let us know

On the Day of your Event

A member of staff or volunteer will be here to open on the day and to lock after your party

We do ask that you sweep the floor and leave the room as you found it.  There is a large bin for your rubbish and recycle bin beside the front gate. 

Bouncy Castles

Bouncy castles are permitted in the Main Hall.  The castle can also be set up outside, weather permitting.  An additional charge of £15 will be made to cover our electricity costs.

Expected Noise Levels

Noise can not exceed a level of 80db.

Indoor speakers are available via Bluetooth in the Main Hall

If you are late in leaving the venue, please respect the neighbours and leave quietly. 

Decorations

Please do feel free to decorate the Hall but please reframe from using fixings which will damage  the walls and please remove all tape/blutack when tidying

Please remove all decorations and leave as found

Air Conditioning and Lighting

All halls have air conditioning and heating and dimmable lighting

Parking

Access to our onsite car park is available to guests

The building is wheelchair accessible and there are disabled toilet facilities

Office Hours

Our venue manager is available weekdays (except Wednesday) and weekends.  Our office 

staff are volunteers may take a day or so for us to get back to you
